Lawrence did his undergraduate and graduate work at the University of Minnesota and at Chicago's Harrington Institute of Design.

Lawrence Boeder Interior Design continues to grow, and has expanded from its Chicago base to include clients across the country. Lawrence draws inspiration from many sources: a lifelong love of painting, art, and architecture; a deep admiration for artwork and artisans ranging from European masters to Native American craftspeople; and the excitement of embarking upon each new design project with his clients.
